North Canterbury Quarries produces quality sand and shingle for the civil construction, residential construction and agricultural sectors. We have a number of sites around North Canterbury and the Hurunui district to be able to supply the right product for the job handy to where it is needed. At our main site we extract gravel from the Waipara river and supply Amberley, Leithfield and Waipara townships and surrounding rural areas. We also have a quarry site in Culverden supplying the Amuri basin down to Waikari. At this site we make brown rock for cowlanes as well as hard rock AP's for tanker tracks and your typical civil / residential construction. We also make a special ballast for Rut busters that flows freely through the rutbuster and holds up well in the pivot ruts. The Kaiwara site produces lovely brown rock for landscaping from large rocks down to a coarse chip-like product.

North Canterbury Quarries has recently purchased a 4ft cone crusher capable of producing crushed AP products at an incredible 250-300tph. It means we can produce large amounts of aggregate in a short space of time enabling us to keep up with large orders and to react quickly to ensure our valued customers have the product when they need it.

We take pride in producing good quality aggregates and ensuring our customers needs are met with on spec products when they need them. We provide delivery district wide with our truck and trailer units. Our friendly truck drivers are happy to put the products where you want them, be it spread or in a pile.
